Cladding Sheet
Aluminium is widely used by architects in the building and construction industry. Its light weight, corrosion-resistant, design-friendly and easy to fabricate characteristics has helped revolutionized architectural design and construction in many ways.
A major area of aluminium usage is in curtain walls which are cladding systems fabricated out of aluminium frames, glass vision panels and spandrels of various materials. These curtain walls serve to exclude wind and weather elements as well as physically express the architects design concept.
In the recent spate of development, aluminium panels have taken a centre stage as a highly popular external cladding material used for the spandrel element of comtemporary curtain wall design because of its intrinsic features they possess. These products are superior to products like composite panels which are not suitable for facia of high rise buildings and public amenities due to their low fire resistance property especially to perforation tests and due to emanation of obnoxious fumes.
The cladding sheets are manufactured in AA1100 in thickness ranging from 1.5m to 4.5mm. The dimensions such as thickness, width and length are made to customer's specifications.

Tread Plate
Alcom's 5-bar aluminium Tread Plate offers the market the benefits of a corrosion resistant, strong yet lightweight, attractive and easy to clean flooring material. Its non-slip surface, combined with the characteristics of aluminium, makes it ideal for foot traffic in places where hygiene is of major importance such as pharmaceutical and food processing plants. It is also widely used on platforms and in vehicle flooring applications where lightweight and corrosion resistant properties are highly valuable. It is also used for decorative purposes in retail outlets.
The 5-bar aluminium Tead Plate is manufactured in AA 3105 alloy, in thickness of 1.2mm , 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 3.5mm and 4.0mm. Other sizes are available and subject to enquiry.
The 5-bar pattern provides groupings of 5 parallel 35mm lozenges, 3mm apart. Each group is set at 90degrees to each other and 7mm from the adjacent group.
